All inclusive teletext Holidays
We looked carefully at the search tool of Teletext holidays, and one thing we noticed that was, they offered booking just 7 days prior to the holiday. Now this definitely was a first for us to see last minute deals of this kind and we went on forward to check out the prices for such a deal. So we punched in Manchester as departure and Caribbean as the destination. Here’s what we found. Nothing! No results to display, but there’s a note saying, “Not found what you are looking for? Give us a call!” Ok, this was not a piss off, but a little disappointment. So we quit searching and went ahead with the already featured tour packages. So we selected a random package, the most expensive one, at £ 977 per person, it was at Cancun, Eastern Mexico at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya Hotel. A 5 star luxury resort on the beach with 7 star facilities, it says. Now we coudn’t describe the amenities of the hotel and resort, they’re lot of them, but the package also included Food, drinks and entertainment along with sports, games and other activities. Doesn’t sound too much for a £ 977 package, but the resort itself would cover it all.
Now this was the part we waited for, the Late (or last minute) deals. Now they did have deals under £ 300, but to be true, all of them were mostly comprising of 4 star hotels/ resorts. There was a 5 star package for Turkey starting from £ 246, but then the actual costs would be higher and also the dfact that Turkey is not such a popular location could not be ignored. But that must be the reason it was cheap. We then spotted a 5 star Benidorm (Spain) package priced at £ 230 for Next month departure, with 7 nights stay at 5 star hotels alongwith food and drinks covered. So we did have something to say that there are cheap deals present. All in all, we would’t say that Teletext is cheapest, but it has some killer packages, definitely worth checking out.
